So two days ago I read in all 3 "guide"books that I'm carrying thatcasa Nostrus, across from the tavern is "clean. I read about the other albergues in the village and this seems like the best option. I'm just now back to 20km a day with less than20 advil. I think the Guy running the albergue knew there was a problem because he said "you can have this last top bunk or do you prefer to see the beds upstairs. " I knew he meant something but all I could think of was walking UP stairs after all day at walk.
Long story very long for me, I have bites, probably bed bugs all over my arms and legs. I cried today. Snotty nose and all. Then I remembered Kyle sayng something like, it'll take more than 40 miles to take me down. At the time I was feeling not so strong. Today with snot and tears I put everything in a tub of hot hot water to hopefully be bug free tomorrow and said to myself"it'll take more than 250 miles,a bad hip,two sore knees,strep throat and bed bugs to take me down"
A n American girl named Rebekah lives nearby, she is a friend of leena. She called yesterday and said she would COME"collect me if I was in need. I think she and her husband offer assistance to pilgrims in dire staights. I can not in. g ood conscience go to their house if I think. I may have a hjthch hike r.So I walked almost 30km without stopping to get to. Carrion where Rebecca told me to see the nuns at St clara for help only to arrive in time for a funeral. Tough to ask for help when they are carrying a coffin.
So, strip down and EVERythING goes in the tub with very hot water. I was in there quite awhile. I'm sure the other. guests were not happy about the a
punt of time I spent in the bathroom.
I considered taking a bus tomorrow to the next bi g town. Just to double wash what's left of my clothes,but no bus on Domingo.

Good, I sat at dinner with yanna the German girl and Carrin from Denmark. They're had already joined Arthur from England who now lives in Hungary. Nice old Guy.
Tom and Pam And Derrik and Terry are not only speaking to each other again, but walking together.
Word is that the meatballs, aka, kaisha and moa from Sweden took a bus from burgoz
to Leon and started walking from. there. Mom was missing her hubby and had to be back at work by the 19 July.

ok so iguess the spray was useless!!but you are right NUKE them. i know you are strong and won't let this get you down. Dot is right take ashort cut when you need to, sorry about the room in Leon but it had all good reviews and was #3 on trip advisor with 3 stars guess that dosen't mean much!!hang in there just know that we are all thinking of you every day and we know you can do this, YOU ARE HALF WAY NOW!!
ReplyDeleteLonnie, the room is fine. They just tried to five me a single at first. After looking at 2 of them I was ready to go somewhere elase, but the desk girl was nice so I explained that I wanted a clean room for 2,even though I was alone. If I as going to take a break and treat myself it was not going to be in a shabby depressingly small room. In the end she came through and I got a nice, clean, big room. Cloak.
